- to consider something when making a decision
- to remember information when judging someone or something
- When you meet with them today, take into account that they are very powerful people and we need to make a good impression on them.
- I am requesting Friday off. Please take into account that I have not requested a day off in over 5 years.
- Take into account that it might rain later.
- Sometimes you may hear ‘take acccount of something. However, this is a bit more formal.
- The new ad doesn’t take account of what younger demographics might think.
- Take account of how many people are in favor of the change.
