Irregular Plurals in English can be difficult to remember. There is a long list of irregular plural nouns that you may be more familiar with. For example, people is the plural for person, or shelves is the plural for shelf. Here you have irregular plurals that are commonly used in writing articles. Notice that the plural version is created by changing the i to e.

- He is having a mid-life crisis. He just sold his home and car and moved to a small island.
- Crises is the plural form of the noun.
- There are crises happening all over the world at this very moment and we don’t even know about them.
Thesis Theses
- a long written assignment usually done for a post graduate degree.
- Thesis is the singular noun.
- I had to complete a thesis for my PhD and it was over 200 pages long.
- Theses is the plural form of the noun.
- All theses must be turned in by the beginning of May in order to be accepted.
