
This week we are teaching a course on Logistics, so our post is about English Vocabulary: consignee. If you work in Logistics, you are probably familiar with the word, but do you know how to pronounce it?
CONSIGNEE
- The official person or company who receives goods and products that are shipped or transported.
- I can’t take the products, I am not the consignee.
- Could you please contact the consignee and tell him or her that the shipment is here.
- The consignee is under a lot of pressure to unload the products quickly.
