
Business English: Innovable. This is a term that is being used more and more in the business world, specifically for businesses who try to use the circular economy. You won’t yet find it in the dictionary, but you will find top AI leaders using it to descibe their company strategy.
INNOVABLE
- Capable of continuous innovation
- Someone or something that is able to change, improve, or create new ideas, systems, or products.
- It is similar to ‘innovative’ but describes something that has the potential or ability to innovate in the future.
- Continuous adaptability
- Companies don’t just want to say they are innovative, but innovable as well.
- Innovable companies are those that will continue to change and be innovative year after year.
- Differences between innovative and innovable:
- An innovative product means a new product.
- An innovable campany will continue to be new and create new products.
- AI based companies that are continuously updating themselves are innovable.
- People working in circular economies are looking for innovable energy sources.
