Photobomb
- to be in the front of or in the background of someone else’s photo.
- usually doing something silly in someone else’s photo.
- She loves photobombing people’s photos on vacation.
- We were ready to take a group picture with over 20 people when a little girl photobombed it.
Awkward
- doing something in a way that is not natural or relaxed.
- feeling embarrassed about how you are doing something.
- I feel a bit awkard bringing this up at work, but I have a personal problem that I need to deal with urgently.
- It’s normal to be a bit awkward at these business events when you don’t know anyone.
Approachable
- friendly.
- easy to talk to.
- the word ‘approach’ means to come near. If you are approachable, it is easy for people to come near you.
- I found her to be very approachable and open-minded.
- The new CEO wants to be more approachable than our previous boss, so he is meeting with each of us individually.
Willing
- someone who is eager to do something.
- showing enthusiasm to do something.
- Joe is always willing to help when I need something.
- Maggie is not willing to stay late tonight. We may need to reschedule the appointment for the morning.
Smoothly
- easily.
- without interruption or problems.
- As soon as he was free I smoothly went over to talk to him and present myself.
- Everything went smoothly today. Let’s hope tomorrow is the same.
